Wellness is a broad term and how we think about wellness is affected by our culture, life experiences, and environments. We believe wellness is conscious and evolving; multidimensional; positive and affirming; and inclusive.
All dimensions of wellness need our attention for us to truly flourish. There doesn’t have to be a balance among all dimensions. Instead, the goal is to find a personal harmony with the dimensions that is most authentic for you. You can’t get there passively, it requires active awareness and commitment. It is our hope that the following information about the eight dimensions of wellness will help you get started or refine your wellness plan.
