Green Team Fall 2020 Update

Cooper University Health Care has taken significant steps over the past several years to reduce our carbon footprint and become more environmentally green. Most recently, we have begun using biodegradable products in place of Styrofoam in the Cooper Court Cafeteria and several ambulatory sites, including:

·        MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper – Lobby café

·        Sheridan Pavilion – First floor café

·        900 Centennial Boulevard, Building One, Voorhees – Lobby café

·        Cooper Specialty Care at Cherry Hill – Lobby café

The hard work and coordination efforts of Cooper’s Green Team made the change to biodegradable products possible, and there are plans for additional strategies to help Cooper “go green.” Their efforts to decrease waste, promote recycling, and reduce Cooper’s carbon footprint have been key in guiding us to a more sustainable future.
