Autumn Aspirations

As summer fades and fall begins to settle in, it’s a natural time to reflect on how we care for ourselves—especially in the demanding environment of academic medicine. The seasonal shift invites us to recalibrate our physical wellbeing: consider adjusting sleep routines to match shorter days, recommitting to movement through walks in cooler air, or nourishing your body with seasonal foods that support energy and immunity. For our diverse community of healthcare providers, wellness looks different for everyone—but the common thread is intentionality. Let’s use this transition as a gentle reminder to prioritize our health, support one another, and build resilience together.
