DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the Schwartz Rounds Committee\, we will be sponsoring an all-day event on Tuesday\, October 7th in the main hospital conference center. Please see “Upcoming Events” to add specific activities of interest to your Outlook calendar. \nMany healthcare workers continue to carry unresolved feelings from the COVID-19 pandemic – grief\, exhaustion\, guilt\, and a deep sense of moral distress that often went unspoken in the urgency of crisis. To honor these experiences\, this all-day event will provide a dedicated space for reflection\, healing\, and shared connection. Through facilitated dialogue\, storytelling\, and moments of quiet remembrance\, this gathering offers a supportive community where we can acknowledge emotions\, recognize resilience\, and begin to process what still lingers beneath the surface. \nThe following programming is offered and open to all team members: \n\n\n\n10am-12pm | 1:1 Resiliency Consultations with Optum (in person)\n10am-12pm\, 2-4pm | Flu Shot Clinic\n12pm | Schwartz Rounds (in person\, virtual)\n1:15pm | CMSRU Narrative Medicine Workshop (in person)\n\n\n\nWe will also have materials provided by Art Therapy\, Therapy Dogs\, and other resources available in CC121 throughout the day.
