DESCRIPTION:Storytellers from Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) will share a five-minute piece on the theme in connection with medicine. The theme is “When the unexpected happens.” \nThe following storytellers will be featured: \n\n\n\nRichard L. Fischer\, MD\, FACOG\, Head\, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine\, Cooper\nChristina Fox\, RN\, ICU Clinical Educator\, Cooper\nOlivia Schreiber\, Medical Student (M4)\, CMSRU\nMarni Goldstein\, Medical Student (M3)\, CMSRU\nMargaret Burzynski\, Medical Student (M1)\, CMSRU\n\n\n\n\nWhat are Schwartz Rounds?\nSchwartz Rounds is a forum where caregivers discuss social and emotional issues that arise in caring for patients. A multidisciplinary panel is facilitated to share their experiences\, and then the discussion opens up to comments from audience participants. It is a great way to reflect on subjects that may not be typically discussed in a group setting. \nWho may attend?\nAll Cooper team members and trainees are welcome. CEUs are offered for those who may receive them. \nTeam members are welcome to attend in-person (Conference Center in the main hospital) or virtually (WebEx).
