DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the Center for Humanism’s Narrative Medicine Workshop on Tuesday\, August 29\, 2023\, from noon to 1 p.m. The event will take place at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University\, Room 428 (take the elevator to the fourth floor; the room is on the left\, just past the restrooms.) \nTogether\, we will read a short narrative piece that touches on themes of humanism in medicine\, write a brief reflection in response to it\, and share our work with the group (sharing is not required to participate). \nPlease feel free to share this invitation widely with others. Registration is not required. SUMMARY:Carebridge Virtual Support Group: Grief Check-In: Loss & Chronic Illness
DESCRIPTION:Virtual Support Groups\n30-minute group check-ins held monthly on a topic related to Stress\, Caregiving\, Parenting\, or Grief. Each discussion is led by an expert. Registration link may be used to access recording of live event. \nLoss of self is a common challenge when living with a chronic condition. This loss can be as difficult to manage as health-related losses.
