The Resiliency Resources Team was created to address Provider and Staff distress during the Covid-19 outbreak. This effort is led by Anthony Rostain, Eileen Campbell, Kelly Gilrain, Philip Fizur, and Paula Watson. There are other physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and Social Workers from the Cooper Health System, who are also contributing to Engagement as well as Health and Wellness during this challenging time.
Current Resiliency Resources
The RRT are continuing to expand resources to support the entire Cooper Community through this pandemic. Below are the resources currently available, be sure to check back frequently for new offerings.
The COVID-19 Resources Page – This page serves as a repository of resources for all those touched by the current pandemic, personally or professionally. These resources are aimed at helping people take care of themselves physically and emotionally. This page will be updated regularly, and we appreciate any contributions. Visit the resource page here.
In-Person Support – Presently, through groups exist to support you in a variety of ways. Resiliency Resource Team Sessions are in-person educational and support workshops to discuss ways to manage anxiety on both the floors and in the Conference Center. If you cannot make it to one of the in-person team sessions, consider our new Resiliency Resources Team Tele-Support Groups In addition, Physician Peer Support Sessions are being organized by Dr. Nicole Fox to address the unique aspects of physicians caring for those with COVID-19, as well as themselves. Also, Pastoral Care is working to maintain the greatest presence possible for spiritual support.
The RRT Podcast – These brief, 15 to 20 minute podcasts are meant to explore many of the most common issues coming up for everyone at Cooper, regardless of your role in helping to combat this pandemic. You can access the first podcast here.
